The challenge was to improve the experience of using assistive devices within movie theatres through an intuitive phone app.

Self-serve kiosks eliminiate unnecessary check-ins at the customer service counter, increasing user autonomy.

A dark theme was created for the most crucial phase in the user's journey: sitting in the auditorium. This helps protect the user's vision while also limiting distractions to other movie-goers.

The Cine Access brand was created with web accessibility in mind following WCAG best practices. High contrast colours and large text were used to ensure that the digital app experience would be easy to use for low vision or colourblind users.
